Meerlust Rubicon

Had the last bottle of the 1999 vintage with Christmas Lamb, boy wish I had more. Perfect wine with the Lamb as the soft tannins matched the texture of the Lamb perfectly. The wine was decanted about an hour before and it was truly ready and waiting to be drunk. All the usual suspects were had except Sauternes, somehow I didn't get round to opening a bottle. Now would be a good time to give my liver and kidneys a short rest, but we'll have to see.
