Valcanto Syrah

Now this is some wicked Syrah, something that I would usually not associate with Spanish Syrah. Slight tarryness on the nose followed by some wonderful dark/mature fruits on the palette and a fantastically long length, this would go well with spicy sausages, steak or even a BBQ food as it has the weight necessary to carry it through. The price is surprisingly low for Syrah of this quality, even though it weighs in at 14% and is inky black it is perfectly balanced. I can strongly recommend this as a cracking daily or BBQ wine. Give it a try you'll love it.
