Bank Holiday Wines
Having had the pleasure of a few days off we decided to do some sampling. Over the weekend we opened. One of the first wines opened was the Gruner Veltliner Ried Schenkenbichl
somehow I don't think we did it justice by opening it a bit too soon and not paring it with food. Then the thoughts turned to Spanish wine and in particular the Cal Pla Crianza, It wend down very well with some spicy sausages. Pity that the bottle got emply so soon as it was an absolute enjoyment to drink this wine, it just shows how good the Spaniards are at making wine.
